Unveiled at CeBIT 2008, the new generation of the Asus Eee PC laptop proves that bigger is better with its new, bigger display, bigger RAM and bigger storage capacity. For starters, the new Asus Eee PC 900 laptop will feature an 8.9-inch display; 1GB of RAM, upgraded from 512MB; and awesome SSD storage capacity ranging from 8GB in the XP-equipped model, all the way up to 12GB or 20GB in the Linux model. Additional features included with the Eee PC 900 laptop are Ethernet, 802.11b/g wireless LAN, a 1.3-megapixel webcam, and a card reader compatible with MMC, SD and SDHC. A 4-cell battery will keep this laptop ticking for around 3.5 hours. The Eee PC 900 laptop will be available starting this summer at a price of approximately $499. Asus.
